Fitness and Exercise


I am going to keep it simple.  You should be moving.  Daily!

     I am not telling you to run a marathon a day.  Or, spend three hours a day in the gym.  I just want you moving at least 30 minutes a day.  Research shows that adults should be getting 150 minutes of moderate exercise a week.  Start slow, but just move!  Walk five minutes a day if you have to and build that up to 8 minutes a day, then 10 minutes a day…you get my drift.

     There are TONS of options for you.  You can join a gym and take great cardio classes like Turbo Kick, PiYoStrength, LeBarre, or Zumba.  Sign up with a local couch to 5K program. Order at-home workouts.  Hire a personal trainer or even get a group of your friends together to hire a trainer.   There are plenty of free options, too.  Walk the dog!  Walk the kids!  Go for  a hike or bike ride.  Be stronger than your excuses and do SOMETHING!
